I am Peter Atkinson, broker and owner of Bay Real Estate Service and Atkinson Appraisals here in Santa Cruz. I have been living and working full time in the Santa Cruz real estate market since 1976.  My office is centrally located in the Live Oak area on the corner of Capitola Rd. and 15th Ave. (1441 Capitola Rd., Santa Cruz, CA).

My Broker Designations are:  GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute), E-Pro (Electronic Professional), and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative). These designations represent extensive education and experience above and beyond what is required for a real estate broker's license.

 

As a real estate appraiser I hold an SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute and a General Certification (highest designation given) from the State of California. My appraisal company appraises all kinds of properties, but specializes in residential. We appraise property for many banks, mortgage companies, accountants, attorneys and private parties. We have an excellent staff of highly experienced appraisers to serve all your residential needs. Although I don't personally do many of the lender appraisals anymore, I am involved in doing appraisals for litigation support, expert witness testimony, probate and tax purposes.
